This spectacular image shows the very rich region of sky around the Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8). The Lagoon appears at the centre, the Trifid Nebula (Messier 20) close to the top. Other nebulae, both bright and dark, can be seen elsewhere in the picture as well as several star clusters.

Answer: It is OK that the picture is not displayed entirely. During rotation of the disc different parts of the picture are displayed.
